Some stats from the very first day I got my TL on 19th December 2012 - I use an Android app called Fuel Log to keep track of EVERY fill up...

    Best - 9.83l/100km
    Average - 11.51l/100km
    Worst - 16.13l/100km

These are fuel only costs, I do a stupid amount of km's apparently, using only BP Ultimate 98ron...
Accumulated average costs per kilometer - $0.41
Accumulated average costs per day - $59.23
Accumulated average costs per week - $414.61
Accumulated average costs per month - $1,801.76
Accumulated average costs per year - $21,618.76
Average kms per day - 145.73 km
Average kms per week - 1020.14 kms
Average kms per month - 4433.24 kms
Average kms per year (expected) - 53193 kms

    Total mileage - 18654 km's
    Total fuel - 2207.56 litres
    Total fill-ups - 48
Total Fuel Costs - $7,670.17 (holy shit, I had no idea it was this much! But I had fun burning it! haha)
    Period of fill-ups - 128 Days

And ALL of this has been for pleasure since I work from home/online. It's kind of scary looking at the figures now, haven't really checked it to this level of details, damn I burn a lot of petrol!

All my driving is usually a mix of highway there and back with the middle parts fanging it down back country bitumen and dirt roads in low gears, maybe 60/40 fang/highway.

Some people are posting some crazy fuel stats. I think my worst consumptions is around 10-11 Litres / 100kms. Averaging 8-9 Litres mixed driving with the best being about 7 litres. But it does take me a lot longer to get from 0-100 than a 3.5L being a measly 2.4L
    So say we all

Take into account that magnas like say, my 3.5ltr AWD for example have never been frugal with their permanent AWD, 130kg extra weight (over FWD TJ V6 models) & auto only are not really a winning combo in the fuel economy stakes.
You are not comparing apples with apples here, especially given you have a lighter four cylinder magna.

6g75 converted manual magna TJ sports on gas injected LPG, I get 450+ kms per tank of lpg, which at current prices costs about $35-$40. This is mostly city stop start driving with an average speed of about 35kph. I used to get about 350kms per tank on the old 6G74 using the mixer gas system.

I think its pretty good considering my right foot gets a little heavy sometimes.

On average my trip meter is around 400 when I put fuel in, but I don't always fill it up (depends on fuel price etc) so would estimate I use 400 to 450 a tank, car is stock 2002 tj no mods, city driving nothing over 60kph. Highway driving, again depending on conditions (head winds and overtaking) I get an easy 600+. Best ever distance I ever got was deer park in melb to the Mobil at the bottom of the freeway in Adelaide on one tank. Was somewhere around 700kms on one tank. But have never been able to replicate that.
